We are extremely pleased with
the way our house looks today compared to a year ago when we
first contacted
Time for Design Interiors LLC. Last year, after
almost 5 years of living in a newly constructed home we were
still living with "builders" white walls. We also were
living with furniture that for the most part had been with
us through several corporate and personal moves. It was time
for a change and a look that reflected our personalities and
lives today... not yesterday. We knew we wanted our house to
be colorful this time but after going to Home Depot
and seeing all of the color choices we were overwhelmed.
That's when we saw an article about the newly formed
interior design company
Time for Design Interiors LLC. We called them
immediately, met with Lauren and Cheryl soon after, and
within an hour knew that Lauren and Cheryl were the ones who
would be able to help us realize our dream house. They
guided us through difficult color and fabric choices without
being overbearing. They listened to what we wanted and
congenially worked with furnishings we wanted to keep and
collectibles we wanted to spotlight. We highly recommend
Time for Design Interiors LLC. for all your design needs.

I had a living room full of objects
that I loved, some with wonderful memories, and others just things I
thought were unusual. But I didn’t have that knack for knowing where
to put them. It was a hard to arrange room to bout. I was going for
a cozy Victorian look centered on an antique player piano, but was
looking for a practical, yet comfortable seating arrangement to. For
years I’ve bought things I loved, but tucked them in a cabinet, or
hid pictures behind couches, frustrated by not knowing where to put
things, or how to arrange them. So when I heard from a friend how
wonderful the Time For Design team was to work with I gave them a
call.
After talking to Cheryl and Lauren,
they decided to do a re-design. So I left the house for a few hours
while they worked their magic, taking things from other parts of the
house to pull together a whole new look! Now let me tell you, I was
a little nervous about opening my home up for examination. We all
have those rooms/closets we throw things in until we have time to
deal with it. Not to mention, one man’s junk is another man’s
treasure... if ya know what I mean. But it couldn’t have been a
better experience!
Cheryl and Lauren made me feel so
comfortable about my home and all its contents. They seemed to be
really excited to get to work. I couldn’t wait to come home and see
what they had done! Now first, let me tell you, I was one of those
shove all the furniture against the wall people. I also had all my
near and dear to my heart things barricaded in a curio cabinet. So
when I rounded the corner into my living room, I was so moved that
not only had they made the bold move to pull the furniture away from
the walls, but they had brought out some of those important
treasures from my curio cabinet. There were stacks of color
coordinated tea cups and plates, perfectly placed with matching
colored figurines that were from a favorite Aunt who had recently
passed away. They found old pictures and arranged them on the ledge
above the piano keys in perfect proportion. There was a clock from
the kitchen, a pillow and throw blanket from my bedroom... same old
objects... but with a whole new look!
Not only did they reposition things
for a great new look, but they made up a list of suggestions for
other changes to make as well. One of the suggestions I took them up
on was to have a seat cushion made for the piano. They created a
colorful seat cushion that fit the era of the room, and brightened
up the dark wood of the piano. It was so fun to see how they
gathered things from all over the house to pull together a brand new
look!
For the first time in years I feel
comfortable bringing people into my living room. Cheryl and Lauren
have natural talent and creativity, and were so easy to work
with. They were confident, yet so easy going. I really enjoyed
working with them, and I highly recommend Time For Design.
